Easy Dog Birthday Cake
Looking for an easy dog birthday cake to celebrate your canine companion’s birthday? Look no further! This cake was so easy to whip up for Winston and he absolutely loved it.
After several years celebrating Winston’s birthday in a low-key manner, this year I wanted to go big. And by big, I mean making him a delicious (but easy) dog birthday cake.
Easy and healthy. I didn’t want to include too much sugar or make this dog birthday cake too big. Because Winston is only little. A small slice crumbled over his (reduced) kibble each evening for a few days was more than enough of a celebration! Oh, and the recipe had to include carrots.
Because carrots are Winston’s favorite!
Now, as I mention below – this recipe doesn’t make a very big cake. If you want to create something bigger/taller, double the ingredients. You may have to play around slightly with how much liquid (oil, honey) or dry ingredients (flour, carrots) you add in, depending on the consistency of your mixture.
Make A Party Of It!
Once you’ve baked the cake and let it cool, why not make a proper celebration of it?
Grab the candles, the paper plates, the napkins. Decorate with paper hats and dog-themed banners if you wish (find out more about how to throw the perfect dog birthday party).
As far as I’m concerned, the bigger the better! Your doggy deserves it. Oh, and if you make this recipe, don’t forget to share it with us! We’d love to see.

A Very Easy Recipe Using Just 6 Ingredients
I am by no means a cooking whizz, and even I can follow this recipe!
All it requires is carrots, sunflower oil, honey, flour, peanut butter, and baking soda. Mix them all together, pop them in the oven until a knife comes (out of the batter) clean, and there you have it.
Winston Approves!
I’m happy to report that Winston absolutely loved his 6th birthday cake. Happy Birthday lovely boy.
